EIT Manufacturing Hub Poland as the patron of the “Factory of the Future” competition

EIT Manufacturing Hub Poland, run by Łukasiewicz – PIAP, has assumed patronage of the “Factory of the Future” competition, organized by the Future Industry Platform Foundation.

 

 

 

The Future Industry Platform Foundation supports the competence and competitiveness of companies operating in Poland by supporting their transformation towards Industry 4.

The goals of the competition are:

  • to identify and promote good practices in digital transformation and implementation of innovative solutions in manufacturing companies in Poland;
  • to inspire Polish factories on the road to Industry 4.0;
  • to support the digital transformation of Polish enterprises.

Entries can be sent in seven competition categories corresponding to seven areas – pillars of transformation towards Factories of the Future in line with the Advanced Manufacturing (ADMA) method:

  • advanced manufacturing technologies,
  • digital factory,
  • ecological factory,
  • comprehensive customer-oriented engineering,
  • human-centred organization,
  • smart manufacturing,
  • an open factory focused on the value chain.

The “Factory of the Future” competition is open to companies with manufacturing operations in Poland.

EIT Manufacturing (EIT-M) is one of nine institutional partnerships established under the EU’s largest research and innovation program – the Horizon Europe project. The main objectives of EIT-M are to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness in Europe, activate contacts between European innovators and facilitate the implementation of industrial innovations.

As part of the EIT-M hub, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP provides information about funding and cooperation opportunities within the EIT Manufacturing network and stimulating the use of innovative technologies in production and manufacturing processes.
