Robotics Repository - launching on Tuesday

Łukasiewicz – PIAP invites you to a conference on the Robotics Repository project. As part of the project, a portal was created that provides universal and free access to a database collecting extensive knowledge about robotics and related fields.

The Robotics Repository project – the digital sharing of science resources in the field of robotics – was implemented under the Digital Poland Operational Programme (measure 2.3: Digital availability and usability of public sector information, sub-measure 2.3.1 Digital access to public sector information from administrative sources and science resources).

Half a century of robotics in a single, digital, free knowledge base – this is how the unique project carried out by Łukasiewicz – PIAP can be summarised in a nutshell. Robotics and related fields are currently developing more dynamically than ever before. Previous knowledge is an invaluable help on the way to the future in this area. The Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP), belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, has developed the Robotics Repository with a view to supporting both the world of industry and science in this regard. The aim is to provide access to knowledge of technological achievements –  both historical and recent – in the field of broadly understood automation and robotics, and thus contribute to the development of science and increase innovation in Polish industry.

The Robotics Repository is a unique compendium, freely available to the public. Scientific, research and development works in the field of robotics and related areas, such as automation, measurements, AI, machine vision, mobile processing, etc., collected by Łukasiewicz – PIAP, are available in a digitised form. Users of the repository also have access to research reports, journals, descriptions of designs of devices and robotic elements, and also to the rich resources of the library of Łukasiewicz – PIAP.

We invite you to the conference where we will reveal more details. The event will take place on 30 May at 11:00, in the Łukasiewicz – PIAP Conference Centre at Al. Jerozolimskie 202 in Warsaw.
