Łukasiewicz - PIAP awarded four times
On 24 and 25 May 2023, the International Fair of Invention and Innovation INTARG took place in Katowice. Łukasiewicz – PIAP received four awards for innovative projects carried out at the Institute.
Two awards were won by the PIAP TRM Tactical Throwable Robot during the Silesian fair. It is a robot that can support operations carried out in hard-to-reach and dangerous environments. The device maintains full operational efficiency after being dropped from a height of up to 9 m onto a hard surface. PIAP TRM was awarded the INTARG gold medal and the Patent Office Diploma.
Łukasiewicz – PIAP solutions also received two silver medals. The first one was awarded for a tool for collecting samples from ground (e.g. contaminated) and chemicals from polluted areas or water bodies. The other was for a device for adsorption of chemical particles.
The INTARG International Fair of Invention and Innovation serves to promote innovative products, technologies and services from various industries and fields of science. The event is supported by recognised domestic and foreign institutions.
