Industrial revolution in the spotlight
The European Economic Forum – Łódź 2023 was held on 12-14 June in Łódź. An expert from Łukasiewicz – PIAP was among the speakers.
During the 16th edition of the European Economic Forum, invited guests discussed the challenges posed by the geopolitical situation and the impact of the economy on environment, climate and green transformation.
One panel dealt with AI, robotisation and the industrial revolution and its impact on regional development. Among the experts invited to the discussion were the Minister of Digital Affairs, Janusz Cieszynski, and an expert from Łukasiewicz – PIAP, Prof. Roman Szewczyk.
The development of artificial intelligence will enable the automation of some tasks that have long required human labour. This transformation will open up entirely new opportunities for businesses, the economy and society. Automation and robotisation of industrial processes driven by AI will also dynamically develop the region’s economy.
