Meeting of the Directors of Łukasiewicz Research Network Institutes at Łukasiewicz - PIAP
On Friday, 20 September 2024, a meeting was held at Łukasiewicz – PIAP between the President of Łukasiewicz Research Network, Hubert Cichocki, and Directors of the institutes that make up the Network.
During the meeting, D.E. Piotr Szynkarczyk, Director of Łukasiewicz – PIAP, presented the scope of the institute’s activities and shared information on ongoing projects.
All participants then listened to an extremely interesting lecture by Professor Piotr Zielonka on “Behavioural economics for managers”.
Later in the meeting, President Hubert Cichocki presented the key issues about the strategy of Łukasiewicz Research Network.
At the end, we invited guests to our laboratories where we presented the following subjects, among other things:
- additive technologies in construction,
- production of mobile robots for special tasks,
- dynamic demonstration of the latest version of the PIAP HUNTeR combat robot.
The attendees could also explore our unique kinetic process laboratory, where Łukasiewicz – PIAP specialists demonstrated the remote disarming of potentially dangerous explosive devices by our robots.
