13. The Night at the Aviation Institute is tomorrow
On 4 October, Łukasiewicz – ITR will host another event in the “Night at the Aviation Institute” series – Poland’s biggest educational night event, which aims to popularise the aerospace sector in Poland and promote the engineering profession.
The number of visitors to the recurrently organised “Night at the Aviation Institute” is increasing every year. During the previous, 12th, edition more than 52,000 people visited the institute within six hours. This year’s event will offer a close look at aircraft and helicopters, engine firing, aircraft aerobatics and the possibilities of 3D printing for the aerospace industry.
Visitors will also see the latest results of engineering research conducted by Łukasiewicz – PIAP and Łukasiewicz – ITR.
Łukasiewicz – PIAP will present the latest transport and medical evacuation robot based on the PIAP IBIS platform. We will make the PIAP FENIX and PIAP SCOUT reconnaissance robots available for all visitors to drive on a designated track.
Admission to the event, which will take place from 5 pm to 11 pm at 110/114 Krakowska Ave. in Warsaw, is free and no registration is required.
