Visit of COMPET representatives
On 10 March 2025, Łukasiewicz-PIAP hosted representatives from the EU’s Competitiveness Council (COMPET).
The visit of COMPET members took place in the presence of the Minister of Science and Higher Education Marcin Kulasek, President of Łukasiewicz Research Network Hubert Cichocki and Łukasiewicz-PIAP Director Piotr Szynkarczyk. The meeting was an opportunity to showcase our institute’s technology and research. In the laboratories of Łukasiewicz-PIAP, guests were introduced to state-of-the-art robotics and artificial intelligence solutions, among other things.
The COMPET Competitiveness Council works to enhance the competitiveness and growth of European Union countries, with four areas of focus: internal markets, industry, research with innovation, and space. COMPET meetings are attended by ministers and European commissioners.
