DIH² Project

A Pan-European Network of Robotics DIHs for Agile Production (DIH²).

DIH² aims to create over 170 DIHs to spark robotics innovations in over 300,000 manufacturing SMEs. It will support SMEs with expertise in agile production, including technologies, investments, standardization, know-how and competences, as well as ethical issues related to new technologies, data security and cyber security. The project also aims to improve SMEs’ innovation capabilities by reducing the costs of access to advanced robotics solutions and doubling the growth of robotics market.

DIH² consortium includes 37 partners from 28 countries, including 26 innovation hubs and 10 companies providing the operating know-how. The Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP is one of the main partners in the DIH² project. As a digital innovation hub, PIAP is a regional contact point for the DIH² network and supports companies applying for financing as part of cascade funding in competitions organized by the consortium.
