The ‘ALADDIN’ Project

Advanced hoListic Adverse Drone Detection, Identification Neutralization (ALADDIN).

The project coincides with the subject of ‘Technologies for prevention, investigation and alleviation of consequences of crime and terrorism’, as part of sub-subject 2: ‘Detection and neutralization of suspicious light drones above restricted areas with involvement of infrastructure operators (if necessary)’. The three years of complementary pilot programs of the ‘ALLADIN’ project will study, evaluate, develop and elaborate on a system for neutralization of drones, based on existing system and improved by innovative technologies and functionalities, such as the following: 1) Paired 2D/3D radars; 2) Innovative panoramic, optical and thermal imaging; 3) Special designs of sound detectors.
