Łukasiewicz – PIAP at the CETEF forum

On 24 and 25 October 2022, Wrocław will become an arena for discussions on digital transformation, to which the Central European Technology Forum (CETEF) will be dedicated. Łukasiewicz – PIAP is a scientific partner of one of the thematic conferences: Development trends, opportunities and barriers to robotization of European industry.

The aim of the Central European Technology Forum CETEF’22, taking place in Poland for the third time, is to create an international platform for discussing European policies in the development of such fields as computer science, automation, robotics, mechatronics, electronics and photonics of smart energy and communication networks, and cybersecurity. Participants in the discussions will include managers, technologists and scientists from 16 Central European countries as well as representatives of institutions, ministries and government agencies with financial resources to support the digital transformation of European economy, including Ms Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation and Research.

The to be or not to be of a company today is often determined by automation and robotization of production processes. At the same time, they are a critical factor for carrying out digital transformation in industry. Ways to meet the challenges involved will be the focus of the  session on automation and robotization organized as part of CETEF’22. It will include two full-day conferences, prepared in cooperation with the world’s leading technology leaders and manufacturers of factory automation solutions, including Germany’s KUKA AG. The session will also feature presentations of research and implementation work carried out by Polish scientific units with extensive experience in this field: Łukasiewicz – PIAP and the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. Łukasiewicz – PIAP is also one of CETEF’s scientific partners.

As part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP is actively working for digital transformation, widely supporting the development of robotization in industry. Design of robotic and automated production systems, commissioning and modernization of existing lines, implementation of customized solutions for partial or full automation of the production process are just some of the benefits of cooperation with the institute. We also provide comprehensive advisory services as part of the research and implementation path development process and project conceptualization, as well as support in obtaining, contracting and settling public funds for R&D projects. We also offer access to special-purpose research teams, laboratory infrastructure and networks of cooperating scientific institutions.

We encourage you to participate in the forum in October. Let’s meet in the capital of Lower Silesia and work together on digital transformation.
