The circuit comprises a curvilinear rope track, spanning on supports over the area to be monitored and comprising sections (3) of a support rope connected to each other by directional connectors, and a monitoring device (12) attached to a rope trolley (13). The trolley (13) comprises a body (14) to which a first (15) and a second (16) bracket with a vertical axis of rotation are pivotally attached. To each bracket (15, 16) there is pivotally attached a running wheel (18), rolling along the rope (3), and a stabilising lever (19) further connected to the bracket (15, 16) by means of a springy element (20). A stabilising lever (19) has a pivotally attached stabilising caster. The axes of rotation of the running wheels (18), the stabilising casters and the stabilising lever (19) are directed horizontally and mutually parallel within one bracket (15, 16). The swivel axes of the running wheels (18) are located above the track carrying cable and the swivel axes of the stabilising wheels are located below the track carrying cable, at least one running wheel (18) is provided with a drive, preferably electric, and the directional couplers of the sections (3) of the carrier rope are in the form of resilient flat bars with a width of 300 to 1000% of the diameter of the carrier rope and tapering at the ends to a width equal to the diameter of the carrier rope. The thickness of these flat bars ranges 80 to 120% of the diameter of the carrier rope.
