The CoLED Project

CoLED – Collaborative Learning Environment for Engineering Education

The project aims to develop a training system supporting the teaching methods based on cooperation using social media to support group communication and participant motivation and to evaluate educational progress and activities. A trial training will be aimed at students of technical sciences and anyone interested in investing in the production process automation.

Planned project results (products):

  • IO1 CoLED Teaching Methodology – a methodology including detailed information on actual needs requirements and preferences of target groups and guidelines for using CoLED platform and available teaching materials;
  • IO2 CoLED Guides – a short description of portal functions and teaching materials;
  • IO3 CoLED Training Platform – an innovative ICT platform supporting common teaching, group interactions, teaching gamification, group communication, evaluation of team tasks and projects, group discussions, identification of user activity etc.
  • IO4 CoLED Training – practice-based teaching resources for anyone interested in introducing solutions for automation and robotics.

The CoLED Project target groups:

  • entrepreneurs and enterprise employees aiming to improve competitiveness of their parent companies and their own qualifications;
  • prospective entrepreneurs and students willing to develop manufacturing businesses;
  • universities and research centres;
  • VET trainers and VET suppliers.

Implementation timeframe: 01/10/2018 – 31/12/2020

Budget: 66.830,00 EUR (PIAP)
