Smart robotic transport system – Intelligent Robotic Porter System (IRPS)

The goal of the project is to develop a mobile platform using advanced navigation systems based on accurate positioning and 3D measurements. The tasks of the platform include transportation of people with disabilities at airports the environments of which are structured but variable. Providing the application with a navigation system operating in real time to enable positioning of objects in the working space of the robot is the key challenge.
