The project aims to develop a new-to-the-world innovative modular road traffic safety assurance system, Roadsense+.

The main distinctive features of the system will include improved functionalities of the following devices for detection of traffic offences:

• Improvement of detection of traffic offences – combination of a few devices into a single unit will improve effectiveness of detection of various types of offences at one site; 
• Advanced local measurement and registration of events in the form of photographs and videos will increase reliability of evidence;
• Monitoring of speed limit observance on expressways by elongation of measuring sections.

The project will deliver an innovative modular system of Roadsense+ sensors considered as an intelligent transport system (ITS). The system will improve road traffic safety.
