Visitors to Łukasiewicz - PIAP
At the end of November, our institute hosted the winners of the Cosmic Challenge competition and the Polish national team at the International Final of the World Robot Olympiad.
Robotics and space technology enthusiasts had an opportunity to visit the 3D printing workshop and the industrial robot hall, as well as participate in a mobile robot demonstration. One of the initiators of the meeting was Maciej Cader, D.Eng., Director for Research and Development at the Łukasiewicz – PIAP Institute.
Here is how one of the participants commented on the visit: “I would like every future robotics technician to be able to see what I witnessed today. Visits like this increase the awareness of what a robotics technician can do in the future and can be an impetus for further development in this area. Thank you very much for your openness, warm welcome and interesting presentations. I am impressed by what the people working here do on a daily basis. I hope that this is not my last visit to this venue,” wrote Tomasz Kosicki, a teacher at the Transport and Communication School Complex from Lublin, on his LinkedIn profile.
