Łukasiewicz-PIAP at the BUDMA fair
We invite you to the BUDMA International Construction Fair, to be held in Poznań on January 30, where we will showcase a robotised station for additive manufacturing of construction elements.
On 30.01-02.02.2024, the capital city of Greater Poland will host BUDMA International Construction Fair – the largest and most important meeting of the construction industry in Poland and Central Europe. Organised under the motto “The Green Future of Construction”, the event will be an opportunity to meet experts from Łukasiewicz-PIAP.

30 January – 1 February: 10.00-17.00; 2 February: 10.00-16.00
At stand no. 97 in hall 5, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP) will present a robotic station for additive manufacturing of parts of varying sizes from aluminium alloys and steel, such as structural components.
Łukasiewicz-PIAP owns a proprietary centre for the manufacture of large-scale 3D objects from metal alloys using the WAAM technology. The stand is based on a KUKA industrial robot and allows objects to be printed using steel alloys, aluminium and stainless steel. The additive hardfacing centre is equipped with state-of-the-art software and hardware to allow for the manufacture of high-quality objects.
