Working stand for welding elements from very thick metal plates

A working stand for welding elements from very thick metal plates, equipped with an industrial robot (1) which concurrently interacts with two MIG/MAG welding sets (6) and a plasma welding set (5) and has welding torches along with sensor systems installed on its arm, is characterised in that an integrated hybrid welding head equipped with a MIG/MAG torch and a plasma torch is mounted on the robot arm (1), which are positioned in a manner as to ensure that the plasma torch in the welding direction precedes the MIG/MAG torch, whereby the control system of the robot (1) is coupled to the hybrid welding system “plasma – MIG/MAG” (5), whereby a sensor system for observing the area in front of the plasma torch is fixed along with the hybrid welding head.
